Description
When curved walls with large circular feature windows emerged as a key element of Ross Palazzesi’s dream home, it became important to find a graceful framing solution.
Owing to the complexity and difficulty of capturing compound shapes, no other supplier was willing to take the job, as it required a high degree of precision in terms of design, construction, and subsequent installation.
As the luxury residential build needed to come together like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, it was critically important to work closely with the owner, the architect, the stone masons and the carpenters.
Todd Stuart’s extensive experience in both industrial design, sculpture and public art project management meant that he was able to confidently map out the parameters of the job and to clearly convey vital information to the project team.
Everyone was impressed when the custom shrouds arrived, knowing it was the type of unique design feature that gets construction projects noticed, and when the shrouds dovetailed into place, it looked like they belonged.
