Description
In 1978 Argentine-born writer and visual artist Leondro Katz created a Lunar Alphabet comprising images of twenty-seven different phases of the moon. While ‘Luna’ most resembles Katz’s letter ‘N’, which takes the shape of a full moon, it also references the moon’s elliptical orbit around the earth, while suggesting alignments resulting in various types of lunar and solar eclipse. Silver-hued and exhibiting a supreme perfection of form, ‘Luna’ alludes to the deeper mysteries of life.
