Description

In an Indian version of Aesop’s tale of ‘The Lion and the Mouse’, which appears in the Panchatantra, it is the King of the Elephants who confers a kindness upon the King of the Mice who later rescues the Elephant King from a hunter’s trap. In Stuart’s revocation of the fable, an elephant in a tight spot offers a peanut to a mouse. From past experience he knows not to underestimate based on appearance.
