It’s the type of collaborative journey that culminated in Summit of Manhattan, a landmark public sculpture at 222 East 44th Street NYC, created by Todd Stuart for BLDG Management.
When BLDG Management identified an existing Todd Stuart sculpture that came close to capturing the essence of what their latest project required, a rewarding collaborative journey towards the perfect sculptural form ensued, involving a detailed diagnostic of the designated site, followed by a round of conceptual proposals – all presented with superimposed visualisations at various scales.
It also involved Todd Stuart travelling from Melbourne to New York to inspect the site and to present his detailed proposal to the board, whose approval saw the artisanal construction phase begin, after which delivery and installation occurred to schedule and within budget.
By honouring and supporting the client’s role in the creative process and providing detailed information every step of the way, we ensured a rewarding journey and an end result that exceeded expectations.
