Description
So, you’re not an art expert and you’ve never chosen a sculpture for you home. You acknowledge however that art can enrich and add warmth to a living space.
But where should you start, and what should you keep in mind as your knowledge of the available possibilities grow?
When Silvana and Fausto M. were in the process of redesigning and redecorating the interior of their home, the aim was to customise to ensure the outcome enriched and aligned with their way of life.
To this end, they selected and purchased an artwork from Mainartery’s gallery of existing concept sculpture designs, and building on the satisfaction of this first purchase, they worked with Todd Stuart towards the commissioning of a second sculpture for a central section of negative floor space beside an ascending timber staircase.
Thus, the design work began on Eternal Caress, progressing through sketches, physical modelling, and computer-aided-design to fabrication, freight, delivery and installation.
The process involved selecting a progressive payment plan and the provision of written and visual information at every stage, with no gaps in the client’s knowledge of the project’s progress.
In this way, all of Silvana’s and Fausto’s concerns were assuaged, leaving them free to enjoy the process and the result of the collaboration.
